While planning out the Director’s Cut of Blue 3… I decided it would be best to replace 2 of the 4 main characters. As much as it pains me, the characters set to be replaced are Zero the Gundam and Edward Elric. (Mega Man (X) and Sonic are going to remain, although Mega Man will have a new sprite.)
I plan to replace Zero the Gundam with Zero from Mega Man, but I’m not quite sure who to replace Edward with. Originally I wanted a character with a blue color scheme… but seeing as there are really no other classic video game characters with a solid blue scheme I figure I might as well replace Edward with another Sonic character to balance out the ratio. (I actually considered Link and Samus at one point.)
The four characters I’ve considered are Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Shadow… so far, I’m leaning toward Shadow or Knuckles. If Shadow is chosen, his original position in the series will be replaced by Knuckles. (Amy’s changes would be similar.) If Knuckles is selected…. practically nothing will change. (Same could be said for Tails really.)
What to do? Hmm, I Know… POLL TIME! (See Right!)
